Abstract
We present the case of a 77-year-old female patient with complete paraplegia of two weeks duration, occurring on a background of slowly progressive bilateral lower-limb motor deficit spanning approximately three years. Imaging studies revealed a giant spinal intradural extramedullary (IDEM) meningioma at the T1–T3 level. The patient had a very good neurological postoperative outcome, and the associated complications also resolved.
